Isidoor ice cream atelier is located at the St. Isidorushoeve in Poppel, hence the name Isidoor ijsatelier. The Isidorushoeve is a farm established in 1925 by order of the Belgian Farmers' Union (Belgische Boerenbond). It functioned as a model farm and as an experimental station for scientific research by the University of Leuven.
